From: jsherman@willmar.com.geentroep (Jim Sherman)(fwd) To: rrhodes@foxtail.com Date: Thu, 07 Jan 1999 08:54:29 -0600 Subject: Hamm's Beer Jingle -- forwarded message, please reply to sender and MMD -- Robbie: Do you know where this jingle might be found on the web, in digital form? "From the Land of Sky Blue Waters (Waters), From the land of pines, lofty balsam, Comes the beer refreshing, Hamm's the Beer Refreshing". (da-da-dum-dum-dum) Actually I liked Grain Belt better. Hamm's beer, now brewed by "Pabst/Stroh", is now going for $7.95 per returnable case here in Willmar, Minnesota. It tastes better now than it has for a long time. Of course, I started drinking Hamm's 35 years ago. Jim Sherman Willmar MN [ I made a small MIDI file of the song for Jim. It will be at [ http://www.mmdigest.com/Sounds/ Does anyone have a photo (or [ animated GIF image!) of the famous Hamm's sign with the [ waterfall? :) -- Robbie Hamm's Beer Jingle hamms.mid (2 KB MIDI file)
