courtesy Hal Davis The original mono cassette tapes were digitized as standard PCM digial audio, 11.025 kHz, 8 bit, mono, and saved as *.wav files. The wave files were compressed to *.zip files using pkzip. The wave files were also encoded to MPEG Level 3 (*.mp3) files, 18 kBit/sec, 11.025 kHz, mono, using program Audioactive Production Studio Lite by Telos Systems. A nice MP3 player program, Audioactive Player, is also available free from the same firm. MP3 files: mp3_index.html
