Sam Harris commented that he would appreciate CD-ROM versions of the
MBSI Journal of Mechanical Music. Few could argue the value and
convenience of such an option. At this moment, it is not financially
realistic.
The MBSI has experimented with scanning articles into CD-ROM and the
results were very impressive. There is a likelihood that this option
will be made available, sooner rather than later. As with all such
projects, money and man/woman power will make the difference.
Ideally, the articles of all related publications worldwide would be
made available in this format. With the translation software now
available, this appears to be a realistic option.
I would be pleased to here the comments of MBSI members on this topic
and would forward any comments to Ron Bopp, Chairman of the MBSI
Publications Committee.
