The can is 3 inches diameter by 2-1/4" tall, with a felt
"stamper" pad that contains the oil to be rubbed on the disc.

The fine print instructions on the back side of the tin are --

"The under side of tune sheets is slightly oiled before shipment, but when through the action of the atmosphere and use of the instrument, the tune sheets become dry and a crackling noise is produced in playing; this will disappear if the under side of the tune sheet is slightly oiled by means of this pad, which should be kept saturated well with mineral oil."
