Note:

In 1976 Noble Stidham, of Mechanical Systems, Inc., Lubbock, Texas, gave
organ historian Fritz Gellerman a photocopy showing two old Wurlitzer scale
sticks evidently used to arrange music for APP and Caliola music rolls.

The image of the smaller scale stick, marked "Original scale for Caliola",
shows the pipes connected as in the list above.

The image of the larger scale stick shows complete annotation for APP,
with subordinate marks showing the Caliola pipes connected to APP tracker
bar holes 26 through 69, i.e., one tone flat.

Possibly this is because the noteur who used the larger scale stick was
arranging tunes for an instrument with pipes that were actually tuned one
tone flatter than the note stamped on the pipe.

Many tracker scales and key frame layouts are included in "The Golden Age of Automatic Musical Instruments," copyright 2001 by Arthur A. Reblitz, and in "Treasures of Mechanical Music," copyright 1981 by Arthur A. Reblitz and Q. David Bowers.

Owner Jim Kenney says only two upside-down brass-pipe Caliolas were made.
