photos by Robbie Rhodes

These photos were snapped with a borrowed Nikon 950s digital camera.   Since the raw image files are not intended for use as-is, the brightness and contrast of all the images has been adjusted with an image editing program.  This is analgous to the adjustments made in the photographic darkroom when printing from low-contrast negatives.  Some images appear yellowish so I should try adjusting the color balance.  I have much to learn yet about using auxilliary lighting -- Ralph Schack's white shirt and black bowler are the very dickens to photograph together!

Motor and pump atop Jerry Pell's Wurlitzer 103   This sort of scene needs much stronger fill light than the
tiny flash built in the camera can provide.
