How to Join Leather
By Jim Quashnock

I will need to join leather together to make a length long enough for
covering bellows. I know old world technology of using hot hide glue
on the skived joint has worked for years.

But what about the newer PVC-E and Barge cement? These are both more
flexible. I have used both on other occasions when glueing some leather
together, but never on a bellows assembly.

Has anyone tried these other glues with success?
