MIDI Control for Accordion
By Wallace Venable

Adding a MIDI Accordion Voice

Does anyone know of a source of information on installing [electro-]
magnets in an accordion?

I'd like to add a reed voice to our crank organ and used 25-key
accordions are readily available at modest prices. I would like to
operate via the keys, as is done on large dance organs. I would use
only one side of the accordion and a small blower or vacuum in a
mounting box.

I have no problem with the MIDI side of things -- it's just another
voice.
