Future MIDI File Making Plans for Menlo Park Stinson 1060
Hello, I have some incredibly exciting news for the mechanical music
community! Over the last few months my good friend, Tom Iannucci,
and I have collaborated on a handful of MIDI file roll projects for
the Stinson 1060 band organ at the Menlo Park Carousel in Perkasie,
Pennsylvania. The planned collaboration project is a series of six
new Christmas rolls.
The other bit of exciting news is that I will be taught how to
arrange MIDI file tunes as well. The ones I'll do entirely are "The
New Age Halloween Roll", "The Easter Roll", and "The Catoons Roll".
For the Christmas roll collaboration, we will split it into
doing three rolls each. Tom will do "The New Age Christmas Roll 1",
"The New Age Christmas Roll 4", and "The New Age Christmas Roll 6"
while I will do "The New Age Christmas Roll 2", "The New Age
Christmas Roll 3", and "The New Age Christmas Roll 5".
One more thing about "The Catoons Roll". It is of original songs
of intros of my own cartoons, with the exception of a song Tom
had arranged called "Wonderland March" in honor of the now defunct
Wonderland Pier.
I am very excited for all of these projects and to be taught how to
make Wurlitzer Style 150 MIDI file arrangements myself.
