Dave, I searched all the digitized Presto and Music Trade Review
journals that I could locate. See
https://www.mmdigest.com/Archives/Digests/200908/2009.08.03.02.html
This article in Presto maggazine is the only good reference I found:
Presto magazine, Number 1550, March 30, 1916, page 7:
> Wm. Shultz, director of Shultz Orchestra, Canajoharie, N.Y.
Canajoharie, New York, is on the Erie Canal about 55 miles west of
Albany, New York. Pittsfield, Massachusetts, home of the Tel-Electric
Company, is about 45 miles east of Albany, so W. J. Shultz could have
traveled easily by railroad to the Teleltra recording sessions.
