Seek Simplex "Fishing Pole" Tracking Mechanism
By Piotr Barcz

I just acquired a Conway player piano from 1912 that has a very
early Simplex player system in it that doesn't have an automatic
"fishing pole" tracking system like the later models. Has anyone
tried jerry-rigging one into one of these older Simplex systems?

If it's possible to do, would anyone in the Upstate New York
area be willing to do it for me? The manual tracker is good, and
all (or most) of my rolls are pretty straight, but it would be
nice to have a "tracking ear" mechanical tracking system.
