Kimball Electramatic Model F Player Problem
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, In response to Keith Gramlich's recent posting (Mon,
29 Apr 2024), another not-so-common problem with the Model E and F
Electramatic players involves the relays in the power supply.

Occasionally, the movable leaf in the relay will 'pop out' of its
pivot point. Exposing the innards of the relay is easy -- just pull
the white cap off, or gently pry it off with a screwdriver. Then
examine the leaf.

While this problem happened only three times (to three different
customers) during my service career, it never happened a second
time to the same customer.

Musically,

John A Tuttle
