I am refurbishing my Regina Sublima Mandolin Orchestra but it looks
like some parts on it are missing. I need desperately some kind of
manual or close-up pictures showing where all these parts go.
I had rebuilt the coin slot after someone (in the early years) had
converted it from a nickel to a dime, very badly making the slot
smaller by filling it up with bumpy brass bracing, making it very
hard for the coin to slide.
Well, after a few tries, finally I got it working properly, making the
coin go through a slanted guide to a 6-inch tube and to a rectangular
strong box where the coins are collected.
After all this, the coin travels and [comes to] rest in the box but
there's nothing, mechanical or electrical, to make the motor start
the machine going. (I was expecting a coin system like the one in the
Regina 27-inch changer.)
I also find that some of the parts don't seems to be the ones that
belong to this machine. (By the way, there are no instructions how to
adjust it and repair it, only a guide on where to oil it.) I really
would appreciate any help or suggestions,
Thank you,
Hector Sanchez
P.S.: I also need a source of blank Manila cardboard to copy my
damaged Regina Sublima roll. Thanks again.
