FS: Clock With Singing Bird by Bontems

For sale: A singing bird by Bontems, but this one with a clock!
The clock makes the bird sing every hour. All in pristine condition
ready to enjoy for another 100 years!

Some technical details :

- Butterfly pendulum with anchor escapement.
- Clock running over 8 days
- Strikes on bell every hour (full) and every half hour
- Original plumes on the bird!!
- Bird starts a few minutes before the hour
- Bird sits in beautiful setting with a painting in the back and
a little tree...
- Bird turns head and opens beak while singing
- 1 Winding key for the clock, 1 winding key for the bird mechanism
- Lever to switch the bird off
- facet cut glass to 3 sides
- Gold plated case with engravings
