FS: Rare Large Clock with Singing Bird by Bontems

For sale: Offered here for the first time is an extremely rare clock
with a singing bird automaton. The clock consists of gilt metal with
putti to the left and right, decorated with porcelain columns and
porcelain plaques.
At the bottom centre of the clock is a bird automaton. The mechanism
of the bird is hidden in the gilded wooden base. The bird whistles
a happy song [but] the clock is in need of restoration.
Size: 60cm wide, about 70cm high. Rare -- never seen before!
