Klinger Organ New MIDI Control Products
By Bill Klinger

Klinger Organ is announcing some new products and services.
Player software has been upgraded to now accept SD cards up to
32 GB. A complete wired player kit (SD MIDI ReadeR) is now
available for custom installation.

The main board can be mounted behind a panel or remotely with the
display and button board on cables. A software revision now provides
interface to a pushbutton or coin drop. A switch closure will start
the file playing. At the end of the file, the play list goes to the
next file and the player pauses, waiting for another button press
or coin drop. The play/pause function is inhibited when a file is
playing so multiple coins or button presses are ignored.

For smaller organs, a magnet driver deck has the same footprint as
the ReadeR deck so it can be mounted back to back for a very compact
installation. The basic magnet driver deck is available in 24 or 32
drivers with the ability to build a system of any size with additional
decks.

Single deck systems are being used to retrofit Hofbauer and Pell organs
for SD card MIDI operation. The Pell 20 note board has provision for
a Sub-D connector for 'plug and play' compatibility. The main board has
both the player and drivers on a single board.

Laser cut and engraved panels are available, priced on a time and
materials basis. Most of the panels we have provided were either oak
or birch plywood, 1/8" thick. They can be cut to size or oversize for
customer installation.

Some information is available on our web site, http://klingerorgan.com/
and we welcome inquiries for additional information on existing products
or custom systems.

Thanks,
