Source of Style 'A' Coin-piano Rolls
By Mark Reinhart

[ Ref. 230922 MMD, Seek Style 'A' Rolls for Seeburg Upright Player ]

This is in response to John McCauley's request on MMD for A-rolls for
his Seeburg piano. Here are two sources I highly recommend.

First, this link is for Tim Baxter, owner of Meliora Rolls. He does
not stock a catalog but just periodically recuts rare rolls for folks
like us that want them.

He is the only person cutting Style 'A' rolls that recreates the punch
matrix before cutting the rolls. It makes the rhythm snap, the way that
original rolls did. And while I am not giving up the recuts I have from
other sources, I'm saying you can hear a difference when the punching
is that accurate!

Another great source for A-rolls is David Ramey. David's rolls are
cut by Tim Baxter so you get the same top quality. David is also a top
quality restorer of these types of pianos. He is known all over the
world for his work: https://dcramey.com/Music%20Rolls.html

I have known both gentlemen for many, many years. Both are beyond
reproach. And you should be aware that each sell rolls different from
the other so you will need both as sources. <lol>
