I was unable to sell my piano as a player, but I was able to sell it
with the entire Ampico player system removed. The buyer said it is
easier for her knees to fit under the piano with the drawer removed.
I got my asking price for the piano.
I now have the complete Ampico A player system for sale -- the stack,
pump, motor, drawer, expression units, and hardware. Unfortunately,
some of the pneumatic fingers broke off with the push rods attached
when removing the stack. Other than that, everything else is intact.
The piano played originally, but very weakly; the pneumatics are dried
out and leaking. From what I have found, this piano was at the 2003
AMICA convention in Portland, and was completely rebuilt just prior.
Shortly after, Jerry Pell purchased the piano, and I purchased it from
Jerry.
It played beautifully when I got it, but then went to my son's house
where the player was not used. I suspect the majority of the parts are
still good, and can be used without rebuilding. Please view the photos

Please make an offer for the complete system. I will entertain any
offer for cash or trade.
