Tune Piano to A435 or A440?
By Kermit Hobbs

I have a 1917 Chickering parlor grand piano. I've always had it
tuned to A435, thinking that a piano from that period was designed
for that pitch.

My question is, does it really matter? If I have tuned it to A440,
will it be safe and will it sound "better"?
