AMI Maps for Wurlitzer 125, 150 and 165 Scales

In the recent article in 230401 MMDigest, "Seek MIDI File to AMI
Wurlitzer Converter", it was incorrectly implied that there are no
AMI maps for Wurlitzer rolls. I have attached the "standard" maps for
Wurlitzer Styles125, 150 and 165 rolls. There are two sheets in the
Excel file for each of the roll types. The first is a listing by feeder
position and the second is a listing by MIDI note.
Based on some bad personal experiences, I cannot stress strongly enough
that standard AMI MIDI maps should be used wherever available. I have
scanned many different types of rolls for customers and have often found
existing maps.
Whenever an existing map cannot be found, I have defaulted to a simple
map that puts the MIDI "notes" in feeder position order. This is simple
to understand and makes it easier to re-map in the future should that
become necessary.
