Seek Mason & Hamlin A Ampico A Grand Player Piano
By Piotr Barcz

Some of you might remember how last year Herb Lindahl had a couple
of Mason & Hamlin grands for sale that were matching and had the two
versions of the Ampico system installed.

I jumped at the opportunity but eventually I was too slow and Herb
had to sell the pianos before I could buy them. (However, he gave me
one heck of a deal on them and was very supportive as I slowly tried
to save up for them; I can't thank him enough for the chance, even
if I missed it. ;)

I'm now looking for another Mason & Hamlin A grand, ideally with the
Ampico A but a B system might not be so bad. In the best case scenario
I'd like to get two grands, one a B and the other an A, and then have
them standing end to end as duet pianos.

It would be more economical for me to get them if they needed to be
restored as it'll be cheaper for me to restore them than buy them
brand new. I'm in the Upstate New York area but I can probably have
them moved.

If you do have a Mason & Hamlin Ampico A (or matching ones or
whatever), you can shoot me an email [below] and I'll see if I might
have a chance at getting it. I might not, so please don't treat this
like a quick way to sell a piano -- I'd just like some options.
