Passing of Alan Pell, Organ Builder and Musician
By Wallace Venable

The following was posted on the FOPS (Fair Organ Preservation Society)
website on Friday by Rob Barker.

"I am extremely saddened to announce the death of Alan Pell, organ
builder, music arranger, musician and father of three, on Wednesday
night [22nd March 2023] after a short illness.

"Alan taught me a lot about organ building, electronics, computers,
music and life, and was the nearest I came to having a brother. He is
also the reason my family and I live in Lincolnshire.

"He will be fondly remembered for his stubborn determination, always
on the lookout for new ideas, his ability to turn his hand to almost
anything and his bonkers sense of humour."

RIP Alan.
