Rebuilding a Wind Motor
By Ed Chaban

Brian Shaw asks about rebuilding a Wind Motor [221216 MMD]. Art
Reblitz' book, "Player Piano: Servicing and Rebuilding", covers
this in great detail. I would highly recommend getting a copy.

I would pull the connecting rods and replace the bushings with red
piano action felt and liberally lubricate with powdered graphite.
A good cleaning and polishing of the crankshaft is also recommended.
If you are careful, re-timing the motor will not be an issue.
