Hi All, Here's your chance to warm up for the COAA organ rally in
Utica, New York, in a little over two weeks. This coming Sunday,
the 28th of August (from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.), we're having a small
organ rally at the New York Museum of Transportation, located at
6393 E River Rd, West Henrietta, NY 14586 (a suburb of Rochester);
see http://nymtmuseum.org/
About dozen small- to medium-size hand organs will be there and
we'd like to have you join us if you're in the area. Come either as
a visitor to enjoy the music or bring an organ or organette to play
for the visitors.
Besides the organs, there are some really neat items in the museum,
including restored trolleys and one that you can ride down the rails,
powered by the overhead wire.
Afterwards we're having a small picnic with pizza and soda and you
are invited to join us. It looks like we'll have about a dozen organ
grinders and organs, including my Mexican Fratti that I converted to
play MIDI music files.
I'd love to have you join us. Drop me an e-mail if you're interested
or if you need more information.
Regards,
Craig Smith
