FS: National Electric "Elite" Original Unrestored
By Jeffrey Sanders
I just took possession of a National Electric Piano Co. "Elite 88 Note"
coin operated piano in original unrestored condition. The stained glass
and lamps have no cracks and are completely original. The coin operating
unit and box is all there. All internal components are there except the
main drive belt from the motor to the bellows. Even the fuse box on the
back of the instrument is there.
It sounds as though there may be one tuning pin that needs to be tapped
in or replaced at most, but the piano is otherwise in tune with itself.
The veneer on the case is not perfect, with small chips at the base of
the instrument. The lid veneer needs to be re-adhered to the top in the
center area, but is still there.
Due to a recent heart attack, I am no longer able to bring this beauty
back to life and wish to sell it to someone that will restore it. It
also comes with one roll which is an 88-note "Elite" roll specifically
made for National, Engelhardt and Peerless coin operated pianos.
If interested, please write an email me back to me and send me your
phone number so that we can text or talk and so that I can send you
pictures of the piano. Thank you.
