I was fortunate to be able to attend this concert on 9th August at the
National Musicians' Church in London. A large and appreciative audience
heard a programme of almost entirely English composers: Roger Quilter,
John Ireland, York Bowen, Josef Holbrooke, Cyril Scott, Percy Grainger.

Holy Sepulchre Church Holborn Viaduct has memorials to these composers,
so it was a very thoughtful and suitable programme.
