Here is an interesting opportunity to further the development of music
notation software offering "nuancing" capabilities to create a more
musical MIDI output. A musician/software developer currently has
a Kickstarter campaign for continued development of his Music Jotter
software. The campaign is already 60% funded and continues until early
July.

Anyone who uses MIDI scans may find this quite interesting and the
developer is open to suggestions for adding specific capabilities.
The sound output once "nuanced" is quite pleasing and could perhaps be
used for other mechanical music applications. Both piano (two staff)
and full orchestration options are available.
