Seek Art Glass for Seeburg "K" and Coinola "CO"
By Don Teach
I have looked and looked for the glass used by Seeburg in the
style K. It is an Eagle. KoKoMo glass does not seem to have the glass
used in the wings of the eagle. It is a dark gray and black streaky
glass with granite texture.
On the same subject, I need the center glass of the Eagle used in the
Coinola style "CO". Of the seven known Coinola CO models, only three
of them have the original center panel. New glass was made years ago
by Emerson Glass in California. I have a set of that glass but of the
seven CO models mine is the only one that has the center door that
opens. The glass is almost an inch narrower than the glass used in
the other six known original Coinola CO.
My CO was in Harold's Club in Nevada before it was sold. The glass
had been removed. I was lucky enough to find the two outside pieces
but I never found the center piece. The two outside pieces were also
smaller in size than the other six known Coinola CO models.
Anyone with photographs of Coinola CO please share them.
Thank you,
Don Teach
