Initials "J.K." Stamped on Player Action Stack
By David Tymoshchuk
I want to add to the sparse information in an old message from
160609 MMDigest, by Mr. Luke Myers, concerning the "J.K." stamp
on an Aeolian stack. Ref.
https://www.mmdigest.com/Archives/Digests/201606/2016.06.09.04.html
I can conclude that it has nothing to do with Kansas based piano
restorers as my Stroud appears to have been originally sold by
J.J.H. McLean & Co of Winnipeg, Manitoba. It sports a dealer decal.
And this piano is still here in Winnipeg after all these years.
It also bears the mysterious "J.K." mark. Perhaps it's a quality
control mark?
I would like to repeat Luke's 2016 question in case new information
is out there now.
