Reroll Problem in Ampico 'A' with 'B' Drawer
By David Moskow

Hi, I have an Ampico A with a B drawer added by Dick Carty in the 1980s.
My question is about the pump pressure. The pump pressure has to be set
around 30-31" for the reroll and power shutoff to work. This causes the
piano to play at the 'Brilliant' level.

Is there a way of getting more suction to the drawer with the pump
around 20"? My other thought is that the pump pressure has to be higher
because of the small tubing in the drawer.

I have owned and enjoyed this piano for 15 years and now decided to do
something about it.

Regards
David Moskow
