The artist for QRS 100099 is Ashley M Ballou; see Rob DeLand's QRS
Autograph rollography as published in the AMICA Bulletin many years
ago. It's always useful to have catalogs to help narrow down the
possibilities when dealing with hand-written signatures!
Ballou's name is against 5 successive issues and one nearby issue,
suggesting that he had one engagement with QRS. Rob lists him as
'artist' and then describes the rolls as 'arranged' so I don't know his
involvement but as the roll has a signature it would be conventional
to describe him as the artist.
The QRS recording piano was carted around the country and local artists
were recorded, according to reports in Music Trade Review. Only a small
number of these artists' rolls were issued, to go by the rollography.
Hence there are scatterings of unfamiliar names at this period.
100093 El Choclo -- Argentine -- for Dancing (Villoldo, A. G.)
100099 Cecile - Hesitation (McKee, Frank)
100100 Hesitation Medley -- for Dancing (Arranged)
Little Love, A Little Kiss, A (Silesu, Lao & Nilson Fysher)
Adele
Bartlett's Dream
100101 Hesitation for Dancing (Arranged)
I'm Falling in Love With Someone (Herbert, Victor)
Gypsy Love Song
Barcarolle -- from "Tales of Hoffman" (Offenbach)
100102 One-step for Tango or Dancing (Arranged)
Crying Just for You
Camp Meeting Band (Muir, Lewis F. )
When the Angelus is Ringing (Grant, Bert)
100111 Tango Melody for Dancing (Arranged)
Chesapeake Bay
Kentucky Days (Wenrich, Percy)
Get Out and Get Under (Abrahams, Maurice)
Ballou is also named as artist for 90135, another 'Hesitation Medley
for Dancing', but no titles are identified so it's not possible to say
if it's another distinct roll or just an alternative release number.

[ At the top of the label 100100 is "QRS Autograph Hand-Played",
[ at the bottom is "Arr. and Played by Ashley M. Ballou".
[ Does the performance _sound_ like it was "hand played?"
