Hello Jody, Due to this corona-virus many parts of our social life
have not been active. I was just 'looking back' to my childhood days
when I lived in England.
I was seven years old in 1943 and the enemy airplanes were flying
overhead. There was a complete 'blackout' everywhere -- no buildings
nor street lamps were lit. The air raid sirens gave off their warning.
I am fortunate to live through all that because, if an enemy plane
could not find its target or the plane had mechanical problems it
would drop its bombs, as no plane ever lands with 'live' bombs aboard.
So I learnt to play the piano, and music became a greater part of my
life. You might still have the list of my "O" rolls I made: six rolls
totaling 69 tunes.

Hopefully things will get better and we can arrange more meetings.

P.S.: I am a retired marine Chief Engineer.
