[ There are several Facebook groups that cater to various mechanical
[ musical instruments. I enjoy those groups but the Facebook platform
[ does not provide a good way to search old postings. In addition,
[ not everyone wants to have a Facebook account. I've also looked at
[ at Google and some other messaging platforms and none have given
[ me the confidence that they would do what is needed. Facebook
[ wouldn't send you a Digest anyway -- you'd have to log in to see
[ the content. You can see the MMD's content on its website anytime
[ and at the moment without logging in. So while email delivery is
[ screwed up, the MMD and its website are alive and well. --Jody
