Some years back I requested information on piano roll recordings
of "America, I Love You", written by Edgar Leslie & Archie Gottler,
(C) Kalmar & Puck Music Co., New York, 1915.

Several people responded very helpfully; in particular, Bob Berkman,
who sent six recordings of rolls that he personally owned. Many thanks
for all that help. I'm now gathering up the threads in preparation for
a book chapter. (I'm a musicologist, not a collector.) There are four
loose ends and if anyone can stitch them up, I'd be grateful.
(1) Does anyone know how to discover the player of Connorized roll 3118?
(2) Does anyone have a MIDI transcription or a recording of QRS roll
32324? (I'd be happy to pay to have a recording made -- I just want to
hear the arrangement, which is by Robert Recker.)
(3) Similarly, does anyone have (or can make) a recording or
transcription of the Ampico (Rhythmodik) roll that was copyrighted
as B13162?
(4) And again similarly: Does anyone have a copy of the Artempo roll
5034 (recorded by Howard Lutter) that could be either transcribed or
recorded?
Thanks, as always, for the work that you do and the pleasure that you
give. You can respond to me directly at the email address below.
