QRS Medley of Opera Melodies
By Richard Dutton

In response to the inquiry from Jim Blanco and Robbie, the roll begins
with the "Coronation March" from the opera "Le Prophète" by Giacomo
Meyerbeer. Then, the "Grand March" from Giuseppe Verdi's "Aida" begins
at 0:42, and the "Intermezzo" from "Cavalleria Rusticana" by Pietro
Mascagni begins at 2:14.

The piece that begins at 5:19 is the "Ode to the Evening Star" from
Richard Wagner's opera "Tannhäuser". Also, as Jim and Robbie noted,
an excerpt from the overture to "William Tell" by Gioacchino Rossini
begins at 8:34. The other tunes in the medley are not familiar to me.
