Seek Instrument Mover, Michigan to Texas
By Jim Quashnock

Now that instrument movers Ron Brewer and John Wrasse have retired, who
is left out there that can move large instruments?

I have been trying for three months to get someone to move an orchestrion
from Michigan to me here in Texas, with very little luck. I tried a new,
recommended individual but he failed. So here I am, months later trying
to find someone else.

I tried Matt Stevens in Maryland, but he apparently doesn't do that route.
At the moment, I have contracted with a commercial mover -- who charges
twice as much as Brewer or Wrasse ever did.

I know that one problem I'm having is that the instrument is tall at 81".
Any help here would be appreciated by all, as I often see posts about
needing an instrument moved.
