Ampico 'A' Restoration Guide by Paul Manganaro
By Paul Manganaro

In response to Wayne Garth's inquiry about my website, I am in the
process of moving and I neglected to maintain the web site -- it was
down for several days. I'm writing to announce it is up and running
again as usual:

https://antiquemechanicalrestorations.com/

Several collectors have told me they used my guide successfully as
a help to restore their Ampico reproducer. I've always preferred the
'A' over the 'B', especially the early 'A' due to its longer striker
pneumatics. The Ampico 'B' does not have greater musical capabilities
than the 'A'.
