Nickelodeon Piano Co. of Huntsville, Alabama
By Bob Wilson

I was the organ tech at the music store that was next to the
Nickelodeon Piano Co. of Huntsville, Alabama. A fellow named
Charlie Cary and a partner started it. Their big customer when they
first started was Cracker Barrel Old Country Store [restaurant
and gift shop].

Charlie was probably the technical person. He moved to El Paso
a few years after they started. Much later he moved to Prospect,
Tennessee, and was still rebuilding player pianos. He died maybe
5 years ago. Someone who worked there might know something but
I think it was too long ago.

I remember they started with older players but eventually moved to
the Aeolian pianos as they were all built the same. I've seen a few
around the area over the years.
