Seabreeze Park, in Rochester, New York, will be opening for the 2021
season on May 22, the usual date for the park's seasonal opening, and
staff-hiring interviews will begin before that, with about 850 summer
workers being hired, the park's usual number, even though under New
York State pandemic guidelines maximum park attendance will be limited
to about 33% of capacity. (Opening Day fun is expected to well exceed
the 100% mark!)
Rob Norris, Seabreeze Park President, explained that the preparations
for opening -- after being closed all of 2020 and the planning for
celebrations like the 120th year of the park's Jack Rabbit and the
25th anniversary of the creation of the new Seabreeze carousel,
replacing its PTC36 M-G-R lost in the March 31, 1994, fire -- will all
require a large staff this coming season, and Seabreeze wants to be
ready to welcome and please its clientele, which has been thirsting
to have Seabreeze back in full swing. Visit https://seabreeze.com/
