If you haven't yet listened to Mechanical Music Radio (MMR) or
if it's been a while, you might want to give it another listen:
https://www.mechanicalmusicradio.co.uk/
Proprietor James Dundon has taken MMR to a whole new level with
several new host / presenters, new themed shows, and a broader variety
of music. It's like listening to a variety live radio show 24 / 7!
The playlist continues to expand, with more orchestrions and
nickelodeons than before as well as more American instruments.
The lineup of special attractions and themed programs is accessed
by the "shows" and "schedule" links from the home page.
Listen to this internet streaming site by accessing the link above
and clicking the "listen Live" button. I like to listen by putting
that small player APP in the corner of my screen so I can listen and
know the details of what's playing, while doing other things on the
computer.
Or, try my favorite way to listen. I have several Amazon Alexa smart
speakers. First ask your Amazon speaker to "enable Mechanical Music
Radio". Once done and confirmed, to listen, just ask, "Alexa, play
Mechanical Music Radio". Google Home smart speaker works similarly.
I'm pleased to contribute an increasing number of tracks to MMR.
Also, if you listen carefully, especially in the evening, you might
recognize the names and voices of a couple American presenters / hosts!
