Shellac Cut for Deck Board Leather Gasket Seal
By Mark Reiner

I have not been able to find a reference for an appropriate shellac cut
to allow a disassemble-able seal between the leather gasket glued to
the deck board and the main deck board assembly.

I have experimented with a 6-pound cut but this provides too much bond
and pulls off quite a lot of the leather face leaving an overly fuzzy
surface. Any advice is appreciated.
