I noticed you shared an article from En.Wikipedia.org when you talked
about CNC machines, here:
https://www.mmdigest.com/Archives/Digests/201205/2012.05.19.04.html
I've read that piece from En.Wikipedia.org -- and I think it's good
-- but we recently published an article about CNC machining that goes
quite a bit further. In addition to covering intro topics like
"What are CNC machines?" we talk about:
* The different types of CNC machining;
* Industry definitions, like: numerical control, NC code,
postprocessor, etc);
* Advantage and disadvantages (when to choose other technologies,
like 3D printing, for example);
* How to start a career in CNC;
* To ensure that our article is authoritative, we quote more than
20 different sources.
Here's the article, if you're interested:

Would you consider linking to our article? I think some of your
readers would really find it helpful.
Thank you for your time, and please let me know if you have any
questions!

[ I found the article that Rachel forwarded interesting. It's on a
[ website of a CNC machine tool manufacturer: https://www.tsinfa.com/
[ While the scale of these machines may not lend themselves to our hobby,
[ I'm sure some of you will be interested to visit the site. --Jody
