This is my recommendation to read the November-December Mechanical
Music magazine. To receive your copy, join MBSI even though we cannot
currently meet in person due to COVID contagion. We stay in touch in
our magazine, Mechanical Music, and some Zoom meetings.
The November/December issue of Mechanical Music is beautifully
illustrated with color photographs in articles written by our members.
These articles cover such diverse topics as reproducing pianos, sacred
music on cylinder boxes, examples of two similar but different disc
boxes and even an article about Edison phonographs.
Our members have diverse interests, making membership a rewarding
experience. Thanks to authors Mary Ellen and Wayne Myers, Matt Jaro,
David Worrall, Harold Wade, and Robert Uhrhammer. I wish for a rapid
return to normal so we can meet again in person. In the meantime,
reading Mechanical Music is recommended!

[ Robbie and I are both members. We have also participated in the local
[ chapter's events. Of course, local gatherings are on hold for now,
[ but they will return and we look forward to them. You must be a
[ member of MBSI to join a local MBSI chapter. Local membership is
[ very inexpensive. --Jody
