Offering for sale a restored and working late style Mills
Violano-Virtuoso in mahogany cabinet, serial number 3201, with
the original violin having serial number 3410.

The Violano is in excellent working order, having had a recent
mechanical and electrical overhaul and subsequent tuning and
calibration. The following has been done in the past 6 months:

Bow motor rebuilt (by Terry Haughawout), new violin strings, new rosin
cakes, new DC power supply, replaced staccato resistor (New Old Stock),
replaced feeder motor resistor (New Old Stock), violin finger assembly
dis-assembly, clean, test each finger magnet, piano action cleaned and
adjusted and all coils tested and working. New bow wheels and rosin
cakes.

The Violano is located in the greater Los Angeles area (near Pasadena).
I have a highly-regarded instrument mover who is familiar with these
machines and can work with the buyer to arrange transportation anywhere
in the USA (at the buyer's expense).

Asking price is $19,000 and includes 4 rolls, reprint of the original Mills
Service book, and a copy of the Mills marketing "Music Profits" book.
