Hi, I have a friend with a 1926 Link, 2 manual, 5 rank theatre
organ for sale. The Encyclopedia of the American Theatre Organ,
pp. 281-283, lists 3 of the 4 roll mechanisms that were made.
According to the Encyclopedia it was used in the Bradley Theatre
in Elko, Nevada.
The organ comes with a rare 4-roll player mechanism, 36 multi-tune
rolls and a test roll -- all which appear to be new in the boxes and
never played.
The specs are Opus 620; Five ranks (Violin, Violin Celeste, Tibia,
Vox Humana, Diapason), total 355 pipes, full pedalboard, swell shades,
percussion (tuned chimes, marimba, orchestra bells, Chrysoglott),
blower # 19339 (appears to be rebuilt).
Also included is a full Toy Counter with bass drum, snare drum, sleigh
bells, wood block, tambourine, tympani, castanets, Chinese drum and
cymbal.
The organ appears complete, judged to be in average condition, and
includes original relay cabinet. It is not working but has been
set-up for static display. Pictures are available by email. I am just
listing it for a good friend. Located in Port Huron, Michigan.
The previous attempted organ sale fell apart. Please look over the
description and contact me. I will get you in touch with the owner.
He is highly motivated and this instrument needs a new home ASAP.
