Seek Alternative Player Action for Upright Player
By Piotr Barcz

Can I swap my standard action for an Ampico or other system?

(1) Is it possible to swap actions in a player piano? I have a Standard
[Standard Pneumatic Action Co.] but I would like to swap it out for an
Ampico action as it would be much easier to control expression. If
anyone knows anything about this then please contact me via email.

(2) Second part of this message: How many Steinway player pianos were
produced with a dual expression system of Duo-Art and Welte Licensee?
There is only one video on YouTube of such an instrument and I was
curious if there are anymore.

(3) And finally the last part of this post: I'm looking for a set
of pedals from a Standard Pneumatic action as the pedal unit on my
piano was not made by Standard; I think someone made it themselves.
The screws don't stay in and the whole thing just looks terrible.
I'm in Europe if anyone was willing to sell a pedal unit.
