Seek Piano Roll Repair Table or Fixture

This is easy -- just get the spool box from any old pianola, cut it
in half, and place one half at each end of a lightly constructed table.
You will need handles for each end. You can also have a continuous long
length of ladder chain joining both ends which can make it easier to
wind and rewind. I buy an A1 size cutting board on eBay and then cut it
in half longways.
Another style is described in MMD:

These were for sale back in 2016 -- don't know if still available MMD

There is an excellent video on repairing; however, please don't use
Scotch invisible tape. Use Filmoplast P which is archival (both the
tape and the adhesive), it is also super thin so won't pucker-up the
roll and can be used on both sides if there is missing paper.
