Replying to Walter Tenten's heartfelt inquiry about IAMMP, I am
currently only empowered to say that (1) we have come to understand
that the service interruption is due to a credit card expiration and
not a conscious choice on anyone's part, and (2) Joe Orens has been
contacted about the matter and is aware of the outage. Unfortunately,
I have no further information about the actions Joe intends to take
in response to this outage.
That said, multiple parties have taken steps to completely image
IAMMP's current content, so I can confirm nothing will be lost during
this interruption, no matter the resolution.
I would only parenthetically note that Joe was also reminded of the
abiding, substantial, and global reliance on IAMMP content.
