CD: Folkways "Music of the Carousel"
By Dan Robinson

Replying to David Kelzenberg's post in 200927 MMD, "Instrumental #3"
and "Instrumental #4" on the Folkways album "Music of the Carousel"
are, respectively, "Paul Revere's Ride" (E. T. Paull) and "Kaiser
Friedrich Marsch" (Carl Friedemann).

The organ is indeed a Ruth, a Model 33, playing Wurlitzer Style 150
rolls. The Central Park, New York, carousel and its band organ are
mentioned only as an aside in the liner notes -- but that is the
organ on the LP and that is the carousel on the cover.
