Dan, I have one, but it's in California and it's my favorite so
far! But I will note that the player upper stack has stamped on it
"P. M. ELECTRIC" on the ends of the short lead tubing retainer board
(the tubes that go in between the note lifter levers).
I'm not certain what is different about the stack for the Recordo
unit though. My piano is also foot-pumped, so the combination of both
mechanisms under the keyboard is rather "cluttered" to say the least.
The intact piano is enough different from others that I think it would
be identifiable -- but I know theft recovery is nearly nil in such
situations. I do understand your frustration, as I really am amazed
at the amount of expression the Recordo B system has.
If you need any photos of the "guts" of such a piano to use in recovery
efforts, I would be happy to send you some. I took a lot of photos
when I rebuilt mine.
One of the things that is a real comment maker is the decal on the
harp listing the piano as an "Underwriters Laboratories Inc. Inspected
Motor Operated Appliance."
My pipe organ friends like to refer to electronic organs as
"appliances", but my piano _is_ one!
